What is Advantage Multi for Dogs? Advantage Multi is used topically every 30 days or as directed. It is a preventative medication that kills immature heartworms and controls/treats adult fleas plus common intestinal parasites (roundworms, hookworms, and whipworms). Formulated for: dogs/puppies of the appropriate body weight who are 7 weeks old and at least 3 lbs. Ask a veterinarian if your female dog is breeding, pregnant, or nursing. How is this medication given? Use monthly on the skin. Advantage Multi can be used year-round or exclusively during mosquito season. Follow your vet’s directions.
