My dog is allergic to something in her food, so our vet recommended we put her on Hill's z/d diet and allow no treats, except these, which are formulated for dogs on the z/d food. My dog loves these! So my vet sold me a 12-oz bag. For [$]. So this price is really good. Perhaps other vets sell the food at cost, but that's not the case in NYC!

Dogs love the taste, but with large dogs they just gulp them down. They work well for training when smashed down into little pieces.

Got a rescue dog and found out she had many allergies including food allergies. Our Vet put her on a special diet which included these treats, no others. Doing well and she loves them.

This was recommended by my dogs vet since he has allergies. And so far we he enjoys the snacks and I have not seen any signs of an allergic reaction. I would recommend this product.

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet Hypoallergenic Canine Treats:

My local vet stopped stocking these treats and since they are "prescription" it was impossible to find them locally. My Pomeranian has a very sensitive/allergic system so after spending a long time finding these to begin with it was important to find this exact treat somewhere else. Best of all he loves these and they are his "big" treat for doing the most important things (and because he is small) like physical therapy etc..

I placed the order here and entered my vet's info - petfooddirect contacted the vet directly and secured the prescription and my order was on the way within a couple days. By week's out I had the treats.

I honestly thought this prescription was going to be a headache and a delay but it was so slick. I cannot recommend enough.
