The Fancy Feast Classics were recommend to me for my diabetic cat instead of the expensive veterinary prescription formulas and with the help of Fancy Feast she is now completely off insulin. This is one of her favorite flavors and I can always count on her cleaning her bowl..a sign of a happy, healthy cat. I stock up to avoid the shortages that sometimes happen at my store.

When I first moved to a new town I took her to the vet and they went over the standard questions. Then we go to the question about what food does she eat. When I said Fancy Feast she sucked in a breath which made me pop the question: Is that bad? The response I got was a yes. Feeding your cat Fancy Feast is the equivalent of giving your kid a large ice cream cone for every meal which of course in the human world leads to health problems and Obesity. Cats can get Diabetes and without exercise will become overweight. Nutrition wise that can is full of nothing but fillers, it fills your kitty up but the nutrition is poor.So why do I continue purchasing it? If your cat has just had surgery (mine had to have all of her teeth removed) its a great way to introduce them to eating again. As the vets have said numerous times, something is better than nothing. We are going in 4 months into her recovery still and I was at the breaking point because we couldn't get her on a stable food with the right consistency for her to be able to eat it or she would screech in pain. She was picky with the flavors but when they told us she had a sore in her mouth we had to take her off her higher quality food to find out if it was because of an allergy. This cat would eat one thing for a day and then suddenly turn her nose up. Then I remembered how easily fancy feast combines with water to make the Pate a smooth texture (no weird textures that would scrape in her mouth). Sure enough we found her favorite flavor and she's been on it since. In a nut shell it's good for a short amount of time but don't make it long term.

Cat chow critic

Comments about Fancy Feast Classic Savory Salmon Feast Canned Cat Food:

My two cats love Fancy Feast and always get excited to be served it. Usually, my cats pick at their wet food over a long period of time and it goes bad....but not with Fancy Feast! With Fancy Feast they gobble it down right away and give a delighted meow as if they want more after they finish it. I love the product and it is super affordable, making it my number one choice of wet food for my two precious cats!!!

My cats love it!!!!

By Privatemary

Comments about Fancy Feast Classic Savory Salmon Feast Canned Cat Food:

I have 3 cats. I have one cat who is allergic to Friskies. So I decided to give them Fancy Feast. Well at first there were just two eating it. Until one day I had the one who wasn't eating it lick the spoon. Well she decided she liked it too. So now all three now eat it. They eat between 2 to 3 cans a day. They go nuts either when I open it or show them the can. My cats didn't like anything pate like food. They like the classic or any kind. I just want to say thank you for selling this product.

Kitty's favorite!

By Sharon1928

Comments about Fancy Feast Classic Savory Salmon Feast Canned Cat Food:

Savory Salmon Feast is my kitty's favorite food! BUT...I have to thoroughly mix it half and half with Classic Chicken Feast. Otherwise, her litter box is over-the-top stinky! I really mean stinky! She also eats the other classic seafood feast flavors and they do not result in the stinky little box like the Salmon does. She does not care for the Chicken Feast, but mixed with Salmon, she gobbles it all down. So, the only reason I did not give the Salmon Feast five stars was the resulting stinky litter box!

Fincky Frankie

By Releaved

from Undisclosed

Comments about Fancy Feast Classic Savory Salmon Feast Canned Cat Food:

As my Frankie Girl has gotten older, she's turned into quite a picky eater. Over about three to four months she progressively lost weight, to the point the vet and myself were becoming concerned. I tried brand after brand of different wet and dry food as she eats a combo, both moderately priced to the most expensive with her at first eating some to eventually refusing any of it altogether. As a last resort I bought a medley of Fancy Feast, something most people had told me not to do as it has a good portion of the product made from that dreaded mystery called "meat-by-product". I struck pay dirt with the Tender Liver & Chicken Feast, and I couldn't be more thrilled! It's also stimulated her to resume snacking on her dry food when I'm away at work which is amazing. My new philosophy is any food is better than no food, even if it doesn't have the purest of ingredients. She's gained a bit of weight over the last month and the crisis has been averted, and I just wanted to say THANK YOU! You must be doing something right, so keep it up.

Case loads Unwanted

By Pickypicky2006

from N.Carolina

Comments about Fancy Feast Classic Savory Salmon Feast Canned Cat Food:

My cat is very picky on the flavors that Fancy Fest offers and I'm going nuts when my cat refuse to eat those flavors, do to the lack of "gravy / broth" or the cat food it's moist enough or the smell of the food that is been offered isn't smelling right. The flavors that I purchase from Fancy Fest by the case loads: Turkey, Beef, Shrimp/salmon, Liver/chicken, Chicken and Salmon. All are in the "Classic" style. I believe Fancy Fest should do more on the label, specially on the sodium and MS65 intake per grams. How's much sugar is in one 3.3 can? Also they need to add more fiber. Fancy Fest isn't the only brand that my cat is refusing to eat.
