Comments about Annamaet Lean Formula Dry Dog Food:

My cocker spaniel, while about 2 or 3 lbs overweight needed an ultra low fat diet due to low level chronic pancreatitis and a gall bladder mucocele. I really didn't want to feed the Rx Diets. This food has the fat content similar to the Rx choices (right between the two major brands) and has worked wonders. As a side benefit, her colitis/irritable bowel has improved immensely. Obviously fat just doesn't agree with her. And I feel good about the food and nutrition of Annamaet versus the stuff used by the Rx Diets. It's a bit hard to find. No retailers in my area (Los Angeles). But easy to order on line from a handful of retailers. (Check around - price differences of up to $10 dollars per large bag).
