Comments about Natural Balance Fat Cats Formula Dry Cat Food:

I often have to use a sifter because of the fine crumbs that accumulate. All my cats love the dry food so I portion it out....cats will gain weight with any dry food so I feed them this dry AND wet canned food.

This food helped my 12 year old cat loose weight. I measure out what the bag suggests and after a few months he lost, coat looks better and he likes it.

Comments about Natural Balance Fat Cats Formula Dry Cat Food:

Our 20-pound tomcat will eat almost anything, unfortunately. Our vet recommended Fat Cats low cal food, as we've been unsuccessful getting him to lose weight on other low cal foods. We ordered it, and our cat absolutely refuses to eat it. We tried mixing small amounts of it with his old diet food - he picked out the old food and left the Fat Cats untouched. Finally, when he got very hungry, he ate a few pieces of it and walked around meowing loudly until we fed him his old food.

Our cat probably isn't unique. I don't mean to trash this food, but these are the facts. We will continue looking for nutritious, low cal food for him, but this one didn't work.

Comments about Natural Balance Fat Cats Formula Dry Cat Food:

I have two cats, one has been overweight for a long time, and then a long-haired cat that is/was at a perfect weight. I was running out of solutions to try to get my overweight cat to lose some pounds, so I tried Fat Cats. I switched them about three months ago, and my overweight cat hasn't lost an inch, but my other cat has. They like the food fine, except they're constantly hungry now. It's good as a natural food and certainly better than marketplace brands, but it's been unsuccessful as a diet food. I'm going to switch them back off of it before my healthy-weight cat loses any more.

Cats don't like it, they eat around it,

Comments about Natural Balance Fat Cats Formula Dry Cat Food:

We tried it with 6 cats. Four of our own and two of the neighbors. Only 1 in five cats would even eat it when it was fed to them.

If we mixed this food with other weight reduction food, all the cats ate around and left the Fat Cat food on the floor and around the bowl.

If we did not feed the cats for a whole day. 3 of the 6 cats would eat some of it. The other 3 just begged for "other" Natural Balance weight reduction food.
