My dog was having all kinds of skin issues--folliculitis, staph infections, irritation and rashes, you name it. I took him to the dermatology specialist at Texas A&M Veterinary Med Hospital and was able to get his issues under control. Due to his allergy to most proteins, we had to find something different...kargaroo it is! He loves it and it has made a world of difference.

Our 1 year old Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier is eating ONLY this Iams kangaroo and oats, and while she improved initially, now she is still scratching until she bleeds. No problem whatsoever with service or delivery. . . The issue is that she has other allergies ( dust mites, etc. ) and will need desensitization injections. I wish this had been the answer. Poor doggie! Bottom line- try it if your vet recommends it.

Comments about Iams Veterinary Formulas Iams Veterinary Formula Skin and Coat KO Dry Dog Food:

My dog, Lucy, has had allergy problems for several years and my vet told me I needed to take her to a dermatologist to see if we could find out what was causing her allergies. The dermatologist wanted to changer her food to see if she has food allergies so he put her on the IAMS KO dry dog food. Lucy likes the food very much and didn't have any problems when we switched over. We're still trying to find out if she has food allergies or environmental allergies but I like the KO dog food because it seems like a healthy food for her to eat and hopefully it will help her.

My dog LOVES this food. I've never seen her like her food so much. Her allergies have almost disappeared and her coat is so shiny and soft. She's only been on it for 5 days and we notice a huge difference! Thank you!

    Great Food

Comments about Iams Veterinary Formulas Iams Veterinary Formula Skin and Coat KO Dry Dog Food:

My dogs have ben suffering from a reaction to something for a few months. The vet assumes it is an allergy of some sort. We were instructed to switch their food completely. Which is what we did. I had received a coupon for $5 off Iams and since we have had such good luck with this brand decided to use the coupon and purchase more. This food is one my dogs seem to enjoy and I feel secure knowing it is not contributing to their reactions.
