This is an excellent cat food, high in protein. Henry is somewhat picky so if he likes it - it must be good.

Comments about ZiwiPeak Natural New Zealand Lamb Daily Cuisine Canned Cat Food:

This food is a bit expensive, but definitely worth the cost. When I first opened the can, the smell reminded me of fresh raw meat. I worried about how it would be tolerated, but my cats love this food. Even my picky eaters find this delicious.

Comments about ZiwiPeak Natural New Zealand Lamb Daily Cuisine Canned Cat Food:

I have 2 cats, one of which is VERY picky. She'll just try and bury any food you put in front of her. We have been through so many wet foods, and it was extra difficult because she has a poultry allergy.

Finally came across this as a last resort and she actually eats it!!!! Both our cats love this, and the giant cans last for 2 days.

The only thing I suggest is adding a bit of water to it, because it's a bit dry for wet food.

Both the kittis' coats are softer and shinier. it's overall an excellent product, especially if your cat has a food allergy.

Comments about ZiwiPeak Natural New Zealand Lamb Daily Cuisine Canned Cat Food:

I've gotten a couple cases of ZiwiPeak canned cat food now. The ingredients are top of the line, and the food is rated very highly. The cats gave it a couple odd looks initially, but now that they are used to it, it is the first choice of canned food when they have options. The food is pricey, even for high end, all natural foods. It is very "solid" for a canned food, and the cans are packed full. Very little gel and no liquid at all in the cans. Since it seems to have less moisture in it, the 6.5 oz cans may be equivalent to 10 oz of canned food with more moisture.

The food has a strong smell, possibly from the tripe or mussels. Until the cats got used to it, there was some gas problems that I can only describe as "eye tearing". Their digestive systems seem to have adapted to it within a week or two.

I'll keep buying this food, but not sure I have deep enough pockets to make it the main food for my two healthy (read: huge eating) boys and various fosters.
