I have finicky Chihuahuas & have them on a rotation diet. I do a lot of online researching of dog foods & liked the listed ingredients in Taste of the Wild, plus the fact that it is a grain free diet. I was skeptical at first because I tried the Bison formula & they would not eat it unless I added water or canned food to it,so I decided to try the Wetlands formula & they love it! Overall I am very happy with this product & so are my dogs! The kibbles are also smaller in the Wetlands formula,so it is suitable for small breeds.

I love the nutritional value of the Taste of the Wild brand. My dog has always enjoyed two other varieties so I thought I would try this one. She eats a wide variety of foods: homecooked mostly with some dry as a supplement. She tried to eat this but would vomit it back up within an hour. I thought perhaps it was caused by something else, so we tried it again a few days later. Same thing.

Comments about Taste of the Wild Wetlands Canine Formula with Roasted Wild Fowl Dry Dog Food:

I have working line german shepherds and long haired Chihuahua's....I feed them all Taste of the Wild and they love it. I feel the nutritional content is excellent and it appears to be easily digestible for all my dogs. I've tried different kinds of kibble and I have found this to be the best for my dogs.

I add salmon oil, thought that would help the taste, but she will not eat this stuff. I did add chicken broth to help it, but that is just another thing to buy. I am wondering if I can send back the unused portion for a refund. I am so sorry. I was excited about the health benefits, but it is not good if the dog will not eat it.
