This food smelled like tuna, not chicken. Though Winchester would eat it and some what liked it, it did not like him. It gave him horrible gas and the runs.

Comments about Evangers Evanger's Classic Recipes All Natural Chicken and Rice Canned Dog Food:

My recent rescue is a VERY finicky eater and needs to gain 5-10 pounds...I've had a heck of a time finding food that packs nutritional calories that he'll also eat. This can contains 650 calories, which is higher than most out there AND the ingredients are nutritionally very good (9% protein, 6% fat, no useless fillers). However, this is not his favorite; if your dog is a picky eater, try the Evangers Lamb & Rice dinner or the Chicken Drummets. Both were a hit with mine and he'll usually finish them off.
