Comments about Halo Spot's Stew Wholesome Chicken & Beef Recipe Canned Cat Food:

The product is great, grain-free is the way to go. The only thing that still concerns me that I am seeing in cat food across the board is the use of plant protein vs. animal protein. Cats do NOT need plant protein, and in fact, it's more difficult for them to digest plant protein, and although this food is grain free, it still contains items like peas, carrots and unnecessary fillers.

Comments about Halo Spot's Stew Wholesome Chicken & Beef Recipe Canned Cat Food:

I feed my cat a quarter can of wet food on a plate, and dry food mixed with water in a bowl for her breakfast every day. She gets just dry in the vacation feeder when I'm not home to feed her dinner.

I've been feeding her Blue Buffalo for several months, but heard the ads for Halo and thought I'd try it. Oh boy was that a bad idea. My cat hates this food, and this is a cat that will literally eat almost anything. ANYTHING. I bought a tray each (12 ct) of the canned Halo food, three flavors, and she hates them all. They don't look great to me either - very watery, lots of veggies (carrots, peas, beans - which I don't think cats need). My cat will eventually eat some of the food (not all) because she's hungry and that's what's there, but will leave the peas and veggies on the plate or pushed off the plate onto the floor.

I'm really disappointed I bought a bunch of this food and pulled it all out of the tray packaging already, because I can't return it. When it's gone, though, I'm going right back to Blue Buffalo. My cat loved it and it was much more solid food (not watery). Oh well - live and learn.

Comments about Halo Spot's Stew Wholesome Chicken & Beef Recipe Canned Cat Food:

We feed our cats a variety of "human grade" canned food and they seem to like Spot's Stew (particularly this flavor) best of all, although several flavors of Weruva seafood come in a close second.

Use as side teaspoon treat with dry food. Cats eat this first.
