Comments about Whole Earth Farms Puppy Recipe Dry Dog Food:

I have always used Taste of the Wild for my puppies and dogs, with a raw meat, organs, and meaty bones, with a weakly turkey neck. When pet360 raised its price I unfortunately saw Whole Earth, being made by Merrick, repitable company, I ordered it. My puppies have constant runny and loose stools, sometimes looks like foods not even digesting...reading the label, my bad... by products and by meals only, with flavors and vits, only organic ingredients is Alfalfa. ?. That is cow food. I cant seem to get my money back, but I will leave reviews everwhere...my pups are on straight raw diet with supplements and doing so much better. SHAME ON YOU MERRICK, Beware and Stay Away from Whole Earth Puppy and dog food products.

Excellent Puppy Food

Comments about Whole Earth Farms Puppy Recipe Dry Dog Food:

My pup had been eating Blue Buffalo for a while but his stools were always soft. We switched to the Whole Earth by Merrick food on recommendation from our trainer and it's been great. Not only is he having more solidly formed stools, but it's almost half the price of Blue Buffalo. I guess too much of a good thing is a bad thing.

Merrick does not warranty their products

About Me Long-time Pet Owner

Comments about Whole Earth Farms Puppy Recipe Dry Dog Food:

Ordered Merrick Whole Earth Farm Puppy. When I opened it had adult size kibbles rather than the usual puppy size kibbles. I had to sledge hammer them cup by cup to get small enough for my puppies. I also wonder if they put the Adult kibbles into the Puppy bag by mistake. I wrote Merrick about expecting they would at least apologize. I only received acknowledgment they read my email.

Comments about Whole Earth Farms Puppy Recipe Dry Dog Food:

This is without doubt a superior product, at any price! The fact that it is actually less expensive than any comparable brand is just amazing....we currently use the food with our own male Pit bull puppy as well as two German Shepard mix foster puppies. The ingredient list is enviable to say the least, and the balance of fat and protein is ideal for any active breed such as Pit bulls, Labs, Shepards, and Boarder Collies. The ONLY suggestion would be to offer more than one formula, maybe a fish or red meat to compliment this primarily poultry formula? Otherwise I sincerely hope this formula remains the same indefinately! We have ordered three bags and more are on their way...
