Comments about Hill's Science Diet Healthy Development Puppy Formula Dry Dog Food:

This would be the BEST of they could use Certified Organic ingredients throughout their line. Preservatives do not have to be used anymore, as many organic pet food companies can tell you.

    Mostly undigestible filler

Comments about Hill's Science Diet Healthy Development Puppy Formula Dry Dog Food:

My breeder was using this food so at first I continued to feed it until I read the label. It is mostly undigestible fillers! What proteins and fats there are come from the throwaway parts of animals, and the fat is just 'animal fat,' which could mean anything from roadkill to other cats and dogs! The saddest part is how highly recommended this food is by vets & breeders, and that it's very expensive. For nearly the same cost, you could get something with better quality meat and grain, and less filler. We switched to Orijen and our poodle mix's coat has gone from dry and dead-looking to lustrous and healthy, with no upset tummy! Even his breath is better and his poos are smaller because he's not passing all that filler. In short, always read the label!

Comments about Hill's Science Diet Healthy Development Puppy Formula Dry Dog Food:

I am really amazed with the quality of the ingredients in the food. I have a Rottwieler 4mo. and her coat is amazingly shiny. Her energy is up the roof. Now I have her on the puppy for large breeds, she really like the taste of it. Bigger kibbles too, which slows her eating a bit.
