Comments about Lotus Wholesome Chicken & Asparagus Stew Canned Dog Food:

We recently expanded our family with a Sheltie puppy. Adorable...yes..we're proud!!! Anyway, After going through digestive/bowel issues with our Maine Coon cat I became very very VERY picky about the food I feed him. So, naturally I was going to do the same for our new little Sheltie. After much research I decided on 3 brands of dog/puppy food with Lotus being one of them. One of them (I won't mention names) gave her loose stools so that one was definitely out. So I switched to another one of the 3 and she really didn't like it. I had to play tricks on her to get her to eat it, so, that was definitely out. So I then turned to Lotus (which is what I feed our cat) and ta dah! She love it! Don't ask me why I didn't start with Lotus since it solved all the digestive issues with our cat - but I didn't. My mistake! She loves this food. Particularly the chicken with asparagus. I top her dry food with a little of the canned food. She is thriving! Happy! and most of all, I know what I'm feeding her is healthy.

Comments about Lotus Wholesome Chicken & Asparagus Stew Canned Dog Food:

Our Westie has terrible skin allergies and our holistic vet suggested switching from (expensive) dry kibble to (more expensive) raw/canned food. We tried a few brands and Lotus is where we landed. Our dog loves it, it looks like "real" people food, and his skin allergies are doing a lot better thanks to his new diet (and some herbal supplements recommended by our doctor). The few times we've tried to switch to another food our dog's skin has started flaring up. We will stick with Lotus; a little pricey but worth it. (our dog is much happier and we're saving money on vet visits, steroids, antibiotics and allergy injections!)

Comments about Lotus Wholesome Chicken & Asparagus Stew Canned Dog Food:

My dog has a plethora of health issues, most notably diabetes, and Inflammatory Bowel Disease. I have to be very careful with what I feed her, and following cataract surgery, I was told to put her on a low-fat diet. This product has a low fat content (and I compared a LOT of cans), and the ingredients seem really fresh. I give it to all four of my dogs, and they all like it. It's pretty expensive, and I sometimes have trouble getting it because it's out of stock a lot, which is a challenge. I'd recommend it to someone looking for a healthy, low-fat option to feed their dog.
