    Product Details

Treat your cat's urinary tract disease with proper nutrition. Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Urinary SO Moderate Calorie Dry Cat Food is specially formulated for cats with or at risk of developing feline lower urinary tract disease and weight gain. It helps prevent the formation of bladder stones that can cause blockages in the urinary tract. Your cat will drink more water, increasing her urine volume while decreasing the saturation of urine with calcium oxalate and struvite. Added vitamins, minerals and antioxidants make Royal Canin a complete and balanced meal for your adult cat.

The Urinary SO Moderate Calorie meets the needs of my cats very well and they really like eating it. The male cat had crystals once but has never had a problem since eating this.

They also like the wet Urinary SO that is not moderate calorie. The wet that is moderate calorie is sometimes ate and sometime just the gravy is enjoyed!

I had to switch over to this food to treat a chronic condition in one of my cats. Luckily, the rest like it, and there's no fight to get anyone to eat. I do wish it was more natural. I used to feed Blue before I had to switch, and I always got compliments on their coats. I wish this food had that effect. It's also really expensive. Still, it does what it's supposed to, and the condition is well treated since switching.

My 8 year old baby, Mia, was diagnosed with a struvite stone. I was devistated :( I set up surgery with her vet, but in the meantime, the vet had her try the Urinary SO Moderate Calorie for a few weeks leading up to the surgery. We went in the morning of her scheduled surgery and to my surprise, the X-ray showed us that her stone completely dissolved! I have Urinary SO to thank for that! Both of my furry babies enjoy eating the SO! Thank you Royal Canin for saving my bank account and my cat!

    Great treatment for urinary issues

I get my Royal Canin urinary S/O 17.6 pound bag from my vet at Northwest Veterinary Hospital in Reno. My cat had FLUTD (aka FUS) a few years ago. It cost upwards of $1500 to save him. He now only eats your food and no FLUTD since. Thank you, Royal Canin!

    Almost works for my Cat

Comments about Royal Canin Veterinary Diets Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Urinary SO Moderate Calorie Dry Cat Food:

My cat is prone to urinary tract infections (as many as four in one year). Our Vet started her on this Feline Urinary SO almost two years ago and we opted for the Moderate calorie to help with weight control. She has not gained weight in the two years but she has had urinary tract infections. Only one per year but I would much rather it was zero as it is so hard on her. I would recommend this food but wonder if a grain free option would be even better.
