Comments about Blue Buffalo Blue Naturally Fresh Pellet Non-Clumping Cat Litter:

I am using this in the TidyCat Cat litter system. I LOVE it! Much better then the pellets TidyCat wants you to use and a lot cheaper. Plus I can't smell the odor of cat urine anymore, not even when I'm changing the pad, which is weekly. These pellets sort of dissolve into something that resembles dirt after a while when they get soaked with urine where the cat pees and it falls down through the slots onto the pad, which I think is what covers up the smell. When I change the pad I simply stir though the pellets to get the rest of the "dirt" to fall through to the tray below and dump it. The only real down side to this litter is the color. It is brown, which sort of camouflages the poo and makes it difficult to find to remove. But I'll deal with that because it covers up the odor soooo well!

Comments about Blue Buffalo Blue Naturally Fresh Pellet Non-Clumping Cat Litter:

This is a great product when used with a litter box system that uses pads. Its easy to clean, smells GREAT, and last a very long time. I've used other litter pellets which fell apart too quickly and left a big mess of dust leaving me to change out the litter weekly. With this system, I change the litter every 4 - 6 weeks. I clean out the litter box daily and the pads every 3 - 4 days. There is no odor whatsoever. I have a cat and kitten and they like these pellets. :-)

No other litter compares to this one as to odor control. Very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone with multiple cats and who keep the litter box in a high traffic area where odor control is important.

          Doesn't absorb, very hard pellets

Comments about Blue Buffalo Blue Naturally Fresh Pellet Non-Clumping Cat Litter:

I hated this litter. It doesn't absorb urine, it just pools in the bottom of the box and sits there for a long long time, leaving my cats leaving the box with WET urine soaked paws. Also, the pellets are big and hard as rocks. My cats didn't like to even go in the box. If your cat does solid poops, it can be hard to dig them out around the pellets, as a scoop can't be used as the pellets are too large to pass through a scoop. If you cats poops are a bit soft, they stick to the surrounding pellets, and then it just turns into poop confetti and sticks to the cat, the box sides, etc. WORST litter I have ever tried to use, honestly almost threw it in the trash, but managed to get it all used over a period of months by mixing small amounts of it in with other better litters. AWFUL, Do not buy.
