Comments about Evangers Evanger's Super Premium Low Fat All Fresh Vegetarian Dinner Canned Food:

A life-saver! Used with Basijii-Chi mix rescue first then rescue Queensland Heeler. Our Basinjii-Chi was was in very poor health when we rescued him. We started with grave undiagnosed, some known health issues and much ER service and gastro, kidney & pancreatic issue and a prescription food for his first 10 months then started a transition to find a food compatible in addition he had much symptomatic food allergy issues, skin and well a lot of health issues! We passed through a few brands on our journey which settled on the Evanger's food line.In about a years time we have settled into a mix which includes this Evanger's Super Premium Low Fat Vegetarian canned food along with a topper of Evanger's Grain Free all chicken canned food and the Evanger's Holistic Grain Free Chicken dry kibble. This product line has been a game-changer and life-saver for both my beloved rescue dogs. This Low fat vegetarian food provided a great low fat no meat protein wet food in our transition to finding anything he could eat without resulting in health consequences. At first he wouldn't eat it. The vet said whatever you feed him if you leave it he will eventually get hungry and eat. Well he didn't eat..hungry or otherwise. Back & forth to the Vet ER and near death and the ER vet recommended trying the Evanger's Chicken & Rice canned food. They said when pets are sickly and don't eat to extreme it is their magic bullet to offer. Well it worked -he started eating again. He was emaciated when we received him at almost 11lbs but was regaining strength, health and weight with a few bounces back to the ER Vet as we worked him through it. But that Evanger's Chicken & Rice is high in calories and he put a lttle more weight on than he should although tolerating eating now and we searched through the Evanger's line and found this Evanger's Super Premium Vegetarian canned food. This Vegetarian canned food was much lower in calories, low-fat, low protein with no meat source (good for pancreas, liver & gastro issues) but he wouldn't eat it. We started integrating the Vegetarian canned food and added a small spoonful of Evanger's Grain free chicken canned food as a topper, ground flax seed and coconut oil mixed in and left a little of the Grain free Chicken & pumpkin dry kibble for him. He picks and chooses his proportioned 'buffet' but is enjoying food now and health-wise tolerating this diet mix as a dog once with huge dietary allergies. He has lost a couple unnecessary pounds, beautiful skin & coat (no more dermatitis ulcerative skin issues) and healthy at 19 lbs, with no more emergency vet visits or health issues. This Evanger's prooduct line has saved his health and life but it took about a year to figure out the best mix with the guidance of Evanger's web site recommendations for his heath obstacles. Everywhere we go, even vets and groomers ask what do you feed him as we know this comes from the inside out and food is paramount to better health for our pets. We recently rescued a Queensland Heeler off a 24 hour EU order in poor health: entrenched Giardia infection, chronic UTI\Kidney & Liver issues, 35 lbs over-weight from open bags of puppy chow left where she was kenneled and abandoned, respiratory & skin issues, arthritic shoulder & hips from concrete outdoor kennels and recently diagnosed with cancer which was probably known to others who dumped her. Sweetest & most loyal girl ever but deathly ill. We have started her on a combination of the same food but adjusted quantities and she has lost over 10 lbs to date but needs to lose more while regaining her health, her coat is amazingly beautiful and commented as 'luxurious'. This Evanger's Super Premium Vegetarian canned food has lower fat, lower calories and fruits, vegetables and all necessary supplements and probiatics, as do most of Evanger's other foods, During her prolonged treatment for serious health issues this Evanger's line has been instrumental is bringing her health back around. She is beautiful and healthy looking as we head into the cancer treatment for several sarcoma tumors others related they thought were just fatty tumors.Biopsies revealed they are Sarcoma and she will require much treatment and surgery but for sure she is in better health at this time to battle it. Both our rescue fur babies were considered too sickly and were slated for euthanasia but are in remarkably better health today with the assist of the Evanger's website dietary recommendations and resources. Pet360 carries most of the Evanger's line at great prices and availability, sales promos, auto ship and home delivery- a great help and well used resource to help us nurse our fur babies back to health and maintain it. Next is our cancer battle with Queen Holly: Just as our lovie Milo was sustained back to a better life and health we will continue with the aid of good nutrition, lots of love and prayers to find the vet care Queen Holly needs to survive and win her Cancer battle too. Here we go!

Excellent food for Bichon with liver disease

Comments about Evangers Evanger's Super Premium Low Fat All Fresh Vegetarian Dinner Canned Food:

My dog is a 10 yr old 12.6 # Bichon mix and she has suffered with liver disease for over 2 years. We have been able to keep her healthy by giving her Evanger's Vegetarian dinner. Thank you for making a product that is formulated to her condition requiring low protein. My only wish is that it was packaged in smaller cans because she cannot eat the entire contents in 36 hours of opening per your directions. Excellent product! I hope you continue to produce it as it is a blessing to our little girl.

Comments about Evangers Evanger's Super Premium Low Fat All Fresh Vegetarian Dinner Canned Food:

Having a small dog w/chronic active hepatitis, I needed a full and balanced diet w/no animal protein...The specialty clinic, that diagnosed her, gave me an option for a prescription hepatic diet or home cooked diet...The RX diet was full of processed unhealthy carbohydrates and additives I wasn't on board with, and as a busy pet sitter, home cooking was time consuming and a lot of trouble...I matched the specialty clinics diet instructions w/Evangers Vegetarian complete and balance diet, and voila! Apple, my yorkie, loves it, and it's reasonably priced and she's been on it for almost 5 years...FYI, I also give her no animal protein treats, but that's another story...I highly recommend this product...Maggie
