What is ResiCORT?This is a leave-on lotion that contains hydrocortisone which is a strong anti-inflammatory medication that helps with itching. It also contains Spherulites that allow for slow release of the active ingredients for a longer lasting effect.

How is this medication given?Shake well before using. Always follow your veterinarians instructions regarding the use of this product.

Bathe and shampoo you pet first. After shampooing or wetting the hair coat, apply a sufficient amount of lotion to cover the entire hair coat along the back of the animal. Massage ResiCORT Leave-on Lotion well into the skin and hair coat. Apply as necessary. ResiCORT can be used in local areas of inflammation/itchiness or as needed between shampoos.

If you are unsure of how to use ResiCORT correctly, contact your veterinarian. Only apply ResiCORT to the pet that it has been prescribed for.

How does this medication work?Hydrocortisone is the active ingredient that helps to reduce inflammation and itching. The Spherulites in ResiCORT help to provide slow release of the active ingredient(s). Chitosanide is also a natural bio polymer that is in ResiCORT. It helps to create a protective film on the skin and hair.

What results can I expect? When used as directed, ResiCORT should relieve inflammation and itching on the skin and should help make your pet more comfortable.

Dose and Administration:Shake well prior to using. Always refer to the directions your veterinarian gives regarding the use of ResiCORT.

ResiCORT can be used after bathing or as necessary between shampoos. Apply ResiCORT to the entire hair coat along the back of the animal as directed and massage it into the skin and hair coat.

Call your veterinarian if you have questions about how to use ResiCORT correctly.

Uses:ResiCORT is applied topically as needed to relieve inflammation and itching on the skin.

Possible Side Effects: ResiCORT is generally well tolerated. If skin irritation develops or increases, discontinue use and contact your veterinarian.

Precautions:Do not use ResiCORT in animals who are allergic to it or other products that are similar.

    I've had Shar Peis for about 25 years. Sometimes, some of them get very itchy skin in the summer. This stuff is great to alleviate whatever causes it.
