This is the first time I have ever had to buy special food for a cat but Missy is worth it. She started with a dry, crust rash last summer and did not improve until started on this PV food. Her skin cleared up fast in over 2 weeks and now is soft and shinny. She was an irritable cat who didn't want to be touched because she hurt; now she is happy and purring again. The price is my concern along with difficulty obtaining. It is great to order it and have it delivered to my doorstep quickly. She loves the taste and also is grooming again.

Comments about Royal Canin Veterinary Diets Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Hypoallergenic Selected Protein Adult PV Canned Cat Food:

My 8 year old "Apple-head" Siamese Maggie was diagnosed with IBD last Nov. The vet prescribed Royal Canin dry HP which she and her sister both eat, but Maggie was always a wet-food lover. I tried R.C. PR and PD - no luck. Meanwhile she continued to beg for her favorite canned food. One last try - R.C. PV. I knew we were on to something when I opened the can and she got excited! I put her dish down and - success! She loves it! It's rather pricy - so is the dry HP - but she's worth it! And getting it delivered to my door plus the auto-ship savings from PFD helps a lot.

Comments about Royal Canin Veterinary Diets Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Hypoallergenic Selected Protein Adult PV Canned Cat Food:

We have 2 9 yr. old Manx cats both whom were diagnosed with IBD, one recently and one during kittenhood. One eats a raw meat diet. The other will not! Silver has been eating Royal Canin canned venison specialty food for most of her life. She is allergic to poultry so that really limits what she can eat. With her IBD and allergies, we have found this is the best food for her. She is a small 7 lb. cat and doesn't really like to eat but she likes this food. We also give her a couple of pieces of the dry version after meals to clean off her teeth. She actually like the dry formula better but we feel the canned food due to its higher water content is better for her. We do have to mix the canned food with a little water for her to eat it but that's just her preference nothing to do with the food. Excellent product for our cat with IBD!
