I've spent hundreds on dog boots for my Schipperke, and he just pulls them off. He has had several paw injuries making his pads susceptible to wear and pain on both hot, summer surfaces and snow and ice in the winter. These are the only boots he will tolerate, and it has renewed his ability to go on longer hikes--5 miles at least. He is 15 lbs, and I get at least 2 uses in summer, one or two in the winter. Best product for now, and maybe someone will improve on them making them more breathable and durable. No paw issues even after he walks in streams and lakes.

    Comments about Pawz Dog Boots:

Should only be used for short periods at a time. My package came with no instructions, warnings, or charts for appropriate size fitting other than a picture of a paw inside a square. These boots cut my German Sheppard's circulation off and I am still praying he doesn't lose his feet. Has been two days since I hurt my furry baby with these unnecessary boots and I am hoping he recovers. People, please don't use these unless you have to!!

Paws help my 14 year old lab with spinal stenosis

      Comments about Pawz Dog Boots:

I just started using these about 12 walks ago for my 14 year old Lab who has spinal stenosis and drags his back feet. He gets 3 walks a day and is still very active but his middle claws are worn off and the tops of his feet were starting to bleed. After checking the options, these are easy to get, they STAY ON which is a problem with other booties, and not expensive to try out. I don't find them very difficult to put on and the dog doesn't seem to mind them at all. You will be very surprised to see how much dirt gets picked up on a walk so I'm thinking of using them on all 4 feet. Measure the dog's feet before you go to the store because the fit is important. Place the foot on a piece of paper and draw around it to get a measurement and take to the store with you. Liking them so far.

        Comments about Pawz Dog Boots:

My 17 year old shiba Inu is starting to have trouble staying upright on slick surfaces. Unfortunately my house has hardwood throughout and two slick hardwood steps leading outside. My options were lay carpet everywhere she walks or find boots she would consent to wear. I've tried regular boots before with no success when she was younger so I wasn't especially optimistic she would wear boots now that she's old and her feet hurt. Pawz says they won't even know they're on so I thought that sounded like the boot for my girl. Sure enough I didn't even get the funny boot walk when I put them on. They slipped right on, easy peasy, and off the old lady went walking just fine on hardwood. She trooped over every inch of the house quite pleased with her new grip on walking. My one concern is that they do seem a bit tight around the ankles so my current plan is to take them off at night so her feet and legs can breathe normally. She doesn't seem bothered by them though. I think I may try one size up next time.
