The most difficult thing about using Royal Canin Dog Food is getting it from the can to the dish without Trixie diving right into the can. She loves it!

Comments about Royal Canin Veterinary Diets Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Urinary SO Canned Dog Food:

My dog was diagnosed as diabetic and at the same time we found that he had a 1.5in bladder stone that had been developing over the last few years. As this started to give him pain we switched him to Royal Canin Urinary SO to try and breakdown this stone, it took it down slightly but not enough, do to it being a non-dissolvable stone and we had to have the stone surgically removed. I was amazed that it helped somewhat and can only imagine how great it would work for a dog with dissolvable stones! It didn't mess with his diabetes which was also great. I would say his preference is the canned over the dry, but he likes it and he's pretty picky. Price wise it' is rather pricey, but it is prescription and it works. Well worth it for your baby!! The vet has decided due to the diabetes and how large the stone was, to leave him on this indefinitely to avoid any future stones, as surgery is high risk for Kujo. I'm overall impressed with this product and would recommend it to a friend.

Comments about Royal Canin Veterinary Diets Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Urinary SO Canned Dog Food:

I am happy there is a food we can purchase for our special needs dogs. Buzzy had a stone so we are trying this food to make sure he doesn't get another one. Being this food is so expensive compared to others, I purchased the kibble and only put a spoonful of the wet food on top. I am hoping to stretch my dollar here as the kibble is quite expensive too. Being that Buzz is only 10.5 lbs I can afford this food. If I had a 150 lb dog, would be living in the dog house with the dog cause I wouldn't be able to afford anything else. LOL. Food is sufficient and we are in the testing phases with the vet. so far, so good for about 6 months.
