This product helps with my dogs digestive system. She would get sick every 6 days before we started on this product. Now, she has not been sick in over 2 months. We are also feeding her 4 times a day now so her stomach doesn't get empty. She absolutely loves the taste of this food. She is a 12 year old Miniature Pinscher and weighs 9 pounds.

We have been using the Prescription Diet ID in wet form for 9 months now. During that time, we have had 13 cans that had medium to large sized air pockets in them which decreased the quantity of dog food for which we paid full price on. Now this week, we received a can from lot #T0110102 7008 that has valid dating until June of 2016. In this can, there is a center of fluid with a large dark center of some material that looks awful. I have saved the can and the sample. I have previously reported that partially filled cans to our vet but unknown mass of black material is a new complaint.

no more soft stools -loves it

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Canine Gastrointestinal Health Canned Food:

my little toy poodle loves this food. She used to vomit every 3-4 days now since feeding her ID hasn't thrown up or had soft stools in over a month. The only thing is I don't go by the amt per day that it says because if I do she has soft bm's--for her I feed her a total of 1/2 cup per day.

My dog has used ID for several years with great success. Until you changed the formula recently. She does not tolerate it. Wish you had left it alone.

Thank you for making this product

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Canine Gastrointestinal Health Canned Food:

We were so excited to bring home our little Golden Retriever puppy only to soon wonder what we had gotten ourselves into as his bowel movements were consistently loose and soon developed an obsession with chewing rocks or anything metallic. I was distraught - I couldn't leave him unattended without the possibility of him ingesting something that could potentially cause a blockage and I was worried about the damage he would do to his teeth! I had a professional dog trainer try to help us, several expensive vet visits later (antibiotics, diseases tests etc), a vet finally noticed that he had some inflammation between his paws and suggested Hills I/D. As we transitioned him onto the new diet the improvement was like a miracle. The bowel movements improved straight away and the metal/rocks obsession went away over a week or two. He is now nearly a year old and am so pleased we found out about this food.
