My dog, Oscar, has been on u/d for about the last year and a half. I have never had a problem until the last case I bought. DO NOT buy the cans that have an expiration date of 07/2016. The food in the can is nasty! It's gummy, and looks totally awful. I took it back to the store I bought if from and was able to trade it out for a different case. I had the store manager open a can from the new case and one from a different case with an exp date of 7/2016. The can in the case dated 7/2016 looked nasty. I would not feed that mess to my worst enemy. The next time I needed to buy more food for my baby, you are not going to believe it, but that nasty stuff was still on the shelf. I had to buy the dry food. He won't eat it because the pieces are too large and too hard.

No recurrance of stones in 1.5 years

By hahall1

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet Hills Prescription Diet u/d Canine Urinary Care Chicken Flavor Canned Food:

My terrier Tessa had 2 bladder stone surgeries a year apart. First she had struvite stones, the second time she had oxalate stones. She began this food after her second surgery and has been healthy for a year and a half. My heart broke when she decided out of the blue to stop eating it one day. I had to switch to a different brand but am worried she will get stones again. If she wasn't such a picky eater I would still have her on this food today, it sure did the trick. And funny thing was she loved it for a year and a half! Who knows, she is a strange dog.

A Safe, Effective Diatary Dog Food

By Jose

from NW Oregon Coast

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet Hills Prescription Diet u/d Canine Urinary Care Chicken Flavor Canned Food:

Unfortunately, one of my adopted dogs developed a urinary condition resulting in crystals forming in the urinary canal. But fortunately, my vet diagnosed the problem early and prescribed Hill's u/d dog food for long term control of this condition. After starting this regimen with the u/d diet, immediate positive results occurred and my dog has thrived on the Hill's brand. And, with my confidence in resolving this issue with one pet, I started feeding my other dog the Hill's Beef & Barley; both dogs have been on this diet for five years and they are thriving with no medical problems. I would recommend an appropriate Hill's brand food for any dog or feline owner. If you want a healthy, happy pet with a beautiful coat consider feeding them one of the wonderful Hill's pet foods.

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet Hills Prescription Diet u/d Canine Urinary Care Chicken Flavor Canned Food:

Our dog Bently loves the taste and would eat all day if we let him. It's nice to see him healthy once again. Since using this product he has had far less urinary tract infection. I highly recommend this product. It would be helpful if cost was a bit lower or you made more coupons available. Love love the product!
