Peace of mind comes in different ways! Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Urinary SO Moderate Calorie Dry Dog Food is for the nutritional management of lower urinary tract disease and weight gain. If the pet you love has or is at risk for either of these physical issues, this vet diet is the answer! Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Urinary SO Moderate Calorie Dry Dog Food takes on canine lower urinary tract disease due to calcium oxalate and struvite urolithiasis, in other words, kidney stones. It increases the urine volume, which simultaneously reduces the saturation of urine with calcium oxalate and struvite crystals. To address the predisposition to weight gain, Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Urinary SO Moderate Calorie Dry Dog Food includes less fat and fewer calories. Talk about getting two birds with one stone!

Please Note: Royal Canin Veterinary Diets now ship directly from the Royal Canin facility closest to you via Fed-Ex ground only (Expedited shipping service is unavailable at this time). Because Royal Canin Veterinary Diets ship from Royal Canin facilities, these orders cannot ship to a P.O. Box, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or APO/FPO addresses. I have been giving my dog Stella & Chewy's and Honest Kitchen. My dog is now 12 and has a urinary tract infection and Struvite Crystals. My vet put my dog on this food and the canned. My dog looks at me like why are you giving me corn, rice and innards instead of the beef, chicken or venison plus dehydrated blueberries, cranberries, bananas, spinach, broccoli, squash, carrots, eggs, etc. I don't understand what is in this product that makes it so special that I can downgrade his diet to such as this. Please Royal Canin if you have such a market on making a prescription food for urinary tract problems, can you not add healthier ingredients along with it. If not, how about you get out of the prescription food market and possibly provide a supplement only for Urinary SO issues. I have not even been on this food 1 week yet. Since I am giving my dog such an inferior product while taking his antibiotics, I hope it does the job. I would hate to be giving him a food with low quality ingredients and not fixing the urinary issues too. The only reason I am giving this food a rating of 2 is that I am optimistic that the urinary issues will disappear and then we are replacing this food with something healthier. I would love to hear from you as to why you think I such keep my dog on this prescription food.

My dog Lily has been on this dog food for around 4 years. Really helps with her kidneys, she has a tendency to get crystals. So far so good.

I have been using this dog food for quite a while now. My dog was gaining too much weight and having urinary issues. He has now slimmed down to a good weight and is feeling much better.
