I have an eight-year old yorkiepoo. She is the most finicky eater ever. I have tried, without exeraggeration, twenty different brands of dry dog food. She would turn her nose up and walk away. When I tried this brand she ate it. We have been using it for about seven years. I stopped for a brief time because the prices raised. I couldn't get her to eat other brands, so I bought more of this. Now Royal Canin sends me coupons and it really helps with the price.

As a veterinarian, I like and respect Royal Canin products, but there is a typo on this page that isn't very professional for a company as big as you are. In the second sentence of the description of this food, it states "Royal Canin Mini Special features exclusive flavors and enhanced palatability AND to appeal to even the most finicky appetite." Please correct this.

Comments about Royal Canin Mini Breed Special Dog:

Getting my dog to eat any type of kibble or dog food used to take so much work. Since I discovered this food my dog will not only eat it, but she asks for more! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Comments about Royal Canin Mini Breed Special Dog:

I bought my first bag of mini Special to try it out based on an overwhelming positive reviews. I thought if this doesn't work for my dog then nothing will. I have a two year old Schipperke and she's a finicky eater. Most of the time she hardly touched her food and will finally eat and flounder when she gets so hungry and then she'll have excessive bowel movement. When I first gave her the mini Special, she ate all of it until it was gone and no more issue of her not eating her food nowadays. She definitely likes this one and is getting her nutrients just by looking at her shiny coat. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Royal Canin Special

By Jacquelyn

Comments about Royal Canin Mini Breed Special Dog:

Royal Canin Special is a the best food I have found. In fact, it is the ONLY dry food that my 3 dogs will eat. We have gone through all the big-name brands and they will have nothing to do with them. I end up giving them away to my friends who have dogs. Put down Royal Canin (it HAS to be the SPECIAL) and it disappears! By the way, my cats love it, too! I am now ordering 3 of the large bags per month! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Great for picky eaters

Comments about Royal Canin Mini Breed Special Dog:

I have tried many dog food brands, both wet & dry & this is only one my Yorkie will eat. It's very expensive, think Royal canin must be making huge profit at the expense of pet owners but it must be tasty to most dogs. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
