Do NOT feed vegan foods to cats, ever

Comments about Wysong Vegan Canine/Feline Diet:

Please do NOT feed vegan foods of any kind to your cat! Cats are obligate carnivores, which mean they require MEAT to be healthy. Even Wysong itself knows this is not a proper feline diet: "Vegan does not meet minimum protein requirements for cats.**"

Please treat your obligate carnivore kitty properly and feed them a high-protein, low-carb wet or raw diet.

Comments about Wysong Vegan Canine/Feline Diet:

My pet was amazed, I did not plan to have it, I adopted it lately, it was homeless. I am vegan, happy to get your vegan product that the pet does like. Glad with the delivery tempo and standard.

Comments about Wysong Vegan Canine/Feline Diet:

Though this is a vegan dry pet formula sold as being for both cats and dogs, please see the below for more information. This is from the Wysong website:

**A natural meatless vegetarian dog and cat food designed to be used with an alternative fresh meat source, or in conjunction with other Wysong meat based diets such as Archetype™ and the Au Jus™ canned diets.

Rich in vitamins, minerals, probiotics and enzymes.

Vegan does not meet minimum protein requirements for cats.**

My dog ate it with no problem, but he'll eat anything so that's not a big endorsement. =) While his coat was less flaky, his feces were dry and hard and seemed harder to pass. The cats would eat it, but didn't seem overly thrilled over it. I'll be mixing the remainder with other vegan cat/dog foods while I transition them to a different brand of food.
