My poodles' health continues to be exceptional with this product which is backed by good research for their breed. They enjoy it, and haven't gotten tired of the taste. Their weight, health and appearance (coats, teeth, eyes, skin) is excellent since I've used this product. Product is great for their teeth, and keeps them at correct weight, and energy level, alertness is excellent.

My son picked up some kibble -- this Royal Canin for Poodles -- for our SPoo while we were away. Within mere 2 days, he called worried because of her slow foamy "vomiting" and stinky foul diarrhea that panicked him. Whan I asked what was he feeding her, he said he ran out of Taste of the Wild and so bought this, you know, designed for Working Dog Poodles...

Well for 1, we know he needed a more gradual introduction to any new food, but dogs in the wild eat whatever appeals without having to be slowly introduced, from fresh kill to dead carcass.... So I am sure it was her instant sensitivity to corn. He stopped right away and got her Before Grain (no TOTW), which she tolerated without any problems without gradual introduction, defecation back to normal about 36 hours later.

I am always shocked at how many so-called premium brands have corn in top ingredients.. there is NOTHING nutritional about corn, it is a filler, and bad for dog digestive track. And this brand lists (1) Chicken meal - not chicken, chicken MEAL (2) Corn Gluten Meal -- what??? (3) Ground Corn -- ah yes, dogs love to sneak into cornfields and chow down (4) Chicken Fat ------------- No wonder dogs suffer obesity -- so unnecessarily. Invest a few more dollars in a no-grain premium brand, and with exercise, you'll have a trim, healthy, happy dog, with fewer visits to the vet.

And if you are looking to save, what $4-5 per month by buying the cheaper corn filled brand... Let's say even $10 a month cheaper... That's $120 a year saved. When you will end up with more Vet visits as a result of the cheaper food... and we all know its $120 a visit at least just to walk through the door.

And to top it off... while most corn-packed dog food is cheaper, check this out;::: This product is $33 for 10 lb bag. Taste of the Wild is $25 for a 15-pound bag -- Do yourself a favor and SWITCH NOW!!!

Small lap dog toy poodle

Comments about Royal Canin Breed Healthy Nutrition Poodle 30:

I started my toy poodle on Blue Wilderness dog food first because the store didn't have Royal Canine available, Max would have nothing to do with it, luckily we also purchased the Royal Canine can food, the pet store ordered the poodle dry for us and had it within a few days and now he is eating his dry food and loving it.

Comments about Royal Canin Breed Healthy Nutrition Poodle 30:

My miniature poodle loves this brand. Actually it's the only kind of dry food he will eat. I've tried varies brands & he would knock the bowl over & walk away.

Only food my dogs will eat!

By Arrowatiel

Comments about Royal Canin Breed Healthy Nutrition Poodle 30:

I've tried several other dog foods out there and Royal Canin is the only one that my dogs love. Their hair coats are shiny and smooth and they are overall healthy. Working in a veterinary office, I recommend this brand to anyone looking for over-the-counter dog food.

Comments about Royal Canin Breed Healthy Nutrition Poodle 30:

My little girl was such a picky eater and so thin. I got her some of this and she just loves it! She is at a healthy weight now and no more turning up her nose and walking away!

Comments about Royal Canin Breed Healthy Nutrition Poodle 30:

My little poodles, a toy and a miniature, like it except the round black pieces. Whatever it is they will not eat it. I thought it would be good for them because I think it contains glucosamine.
