When other collapsing trachea medications were not working for my 10 year old Pomeranian, my Vet suggested this medication for off-label use. He had read some research stating that this medication has shown effectiveness for this disease. Boy, was he right! It's like MAGIC it works so well. Since it's not teased for this disease, so there's no way of knowing if there are side effects, but none are noticeable. I give my Pomeranian 1/4 of a 16mg. tablet approx. every other day. Works great!!!! :-)

Comments about Pfizer Cerenia Tablets for Dogs:

I have a cat with long time chronic sinus issues I was told could never be treated. We started with a new younger vet who would really think outside the box and that's how he came up with Cerenia. He had read that Cerenia could have an anti-inflammatory effect in some felines so we decided to give it a try. Along with a strong course of antibiotics Steve our cat is feeling and sounding better than he has in years. The Cerenia tablet is very small so when put into his dry kibble he doesn't even know he is eating it. My only regret is it took us this long to find something to make him feel at least a little better.

Comments about Pfizer Cerenia Tablets for Dogs:

We discovered this option for our cat with severe chronic irritable bowel. Our vet recommended it after other treatments were no longer effective. It's great since we have to administer only twice a week and it's effective in providing comfort and alleviating many of the symptoms of IBD/IBS. Dose is 1/2 of the smallest dog dosage and we deliver in a small gel cap. It's potency is affected by temp and light so it has to be stored in a container in the fridge but the benefits far outweigh any complications.

Comments about Pfizer Cerenia Tablets for Dogs:

We discovered that Cerenia is very useful for irritable bowel disease in felines. It works in all stages to help our older cats avoid the vomiting and food avoidance during flare-ups. They are calm and happy for a week on each small dose. PetFood direct had about the best price of any legitimate Rx. We are very happy and so are the cats.
