I like these tendons because they relieve the concern over choking on rawhide and don't seem to have any problems with digestion. No one has mentioned anything about food poisoning which seems to be common in rawhide (selminilla) however you spell it. My dog is on a raw food/chicken necks and dehydrated freezedried raw diet so he may not have as many issues as commercially fed dogs on dry or canned stuff. I love it. He looks forward to the chew every am after being fed his raw chicken necks and going outside. Settles him in while I get ready for work.

I don't know if these things are good for dog's teeth since our chihuahua started chewing on one and our family almost threw up because they smell so badly. Went into trash can, money wasted. We went back to Merrick Tendons.

Comments about Only Natural Pet Free Range Beef Tendons:

I purchased in a an attempt to distract my dogs when leaving and ease the separation anxiety. My puppy chewed right through them, it took her a matter of seconds. However my older dog loved them, they were less tough on his old teeth.
Not long lasting, but a good treat.

Gretel loves to have a tasty treat that she can ask for. We make a game of it. She gets her tennis ball and we play a little, however her main intent is to get my attention so I will give her the chew. I cut the tendons down to about 1.5 inches since she is 14 lbs; and if she doesn't drink water after the treat, I give her water with an eye dropper. It used to be an afternoon treat. This morning Gretel asked for it before 7 am!
