We have a 3 year old male frenchie who has many allergies to food including chicken, corn, beef etc.. This is the only food we have found that works for him and keeps his allergy symptoms down. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The only food for my atopic dermatitis dog!

By Ebco182

Comments about Royal Canin Veterinary Diets Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Hypoallergenic Selected Protein Moderate Calorie Adult PW Dry Dog Food:

This food was recommended to me by a dermatologist for my dog's atopic dermatitis. We had tried several foods over the years with no luck. As soon as he started this food his skin started to clear, and after a few weeks his skin was the best it's looked in years! His stool also improved, and he has had less gas. He's been on it for almost 2 years and is doing well. The only time we ever had an issue was when I tried to switch to another brand. It was a no go.

Skins problems improved!

By Ashnj316

from Manteca, CA, United States

Comments about Royal Canin Veterinary Diets Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Hypoallergenic Selected Protein Moderate Calorie Adult PW Dry Dog Food:

My dog has incredibly sensitive skin and he battles allergies on top of it. I've been struggling to find a food that doesn't add to those issues specifically his non stop itching. He was prescribed PW selected protein by his vet and after a few months on it I've noticed a big difference! He's not itching nearly as much and his chronic ear and skin infections seem to be over. He's also a finicky water and needed canned food or water added to his food in order to eat it. Now however, he gobbles the dry food right up with no hesitation. My dog's health is my biggest concern and this food has helped me to not have to worry about him so much. I know nutritionally he's being taken care of and that's improving his outside health as well!
