I started my dog Charlotte on Royal Canin Diet Satiety suport dry dog food. The first 3 weeks she lost 2lbs. She is not at a plato but I continue to keep her on the diet food and see that she continues to slim down. I am very pleased that she is 1) actually eating her meals and i am not feeling her mine because the food put down ends up in the trash. 2) she seems to have more energy.

This stuff is expensive garbage. I bought two large bags because my veterinarian recommended it for my two small terriers that need to lose weight. I am now thinking of changing to another vet. I tried to follow the feeding instructions for at least two months. The dogs love it and can't seem to get enough. It is loaded with fiber so if you like to constantly clean up after your dog this may be a good product for you. As I said my dogs love it, but I believe now that the reason why is that they are craving more nutrients. I read an article recently on the internet which said that powdered cellulose is the first and main ingredient. I checked the bag and it's true. The best part is both dogs actually gained a couple of pounds. Buyer beware!

Great Weight loss diet

Comments about Royal Canin Veterinary Diets Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Satiety Support Dry Dog Food:

My dog has been on this diet for over a year. He is an older lab and has had a tendency to gain weight. We successfully trimmed him down (15# weight loss) with this diet and treat control. He is currently at a healthy weight.

Works well, what next?

Comments about Royal Canin Veterinary Diets Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Satiety Support Dry Dog Food:

My 7 year old post labor spayed lab has been on this diet for a month and has managed to lose the desired weight. I'm unsure what to do next. Continue with this diet with same amount as at the end of the 4-week period or go back to her original RC lab food? If the latter, what amount is recommended? I'm inclined to calculate the current calorie intake under Satiety diet and adjust it to her regular dry food to determine amount in grams. Your advise is greatly appreciated.

Love this food!

Comments about Royal Canin Veterinary Diets Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Satiety Support Dry Dog Food:

I have two small dogs and they were getting a little chubby. This food has worked amazingly and brought them down to their ideal weights. I will continue feeding this food and am so happy I decided to try it! What you hear about Veterinary Diets is not true. I was completely taken advantage of by a pet store employee telling me "how bad" Veterinary Diets were. Despite them working in a pet retail store with minimum education on pet nutrition. LOVE Veterinary Diets, all of my dogs are now on them and I couldn't be happier with their health.

Comments about Royal Canin Veterinary Diets Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Satiety Support Dry Dog Food:

Before my grandma's dog passed we had her on satiety and she went from a chunky overweight dog who struggled to get up to running and playing with ease! I Loved the results we got from this food.
