Comments about DISC Natural Balance Wild Pursuit Trt Salmon Tuna Cat 24/6oz:

I stopped at a big box store to grab one of each available flavor and was disappointed that there are no descriptors about the texture. I have discovered recently that my nearly 3.5 year old rescue kitty prefers a stew consistency to the pate (she loves the Delectable Delights versions), though it has taken several months (we've been together since December 2013) to determine that texture is just as important, if not more, than taste. This hovers somewhere in the souffle category - too light to be considered a pate, and much more "airy" than the standard Natural Balance wet foods. While I'm confident that this is nutritionally better for her, 1.5 oz of this flavor's 3 oz can sat in her dish throughout the day, rejected over dry food, which is pretty harsh in her book. Most of it seemed to have been eaten overnight when the dry food started running low.

Hope this helps those with awesomely healthy cats that are finnicky. I understand my kitty would do just as well on some of the brands found in grocery stores (i.e. Friskies), but I can't bring myself to feed her that.
