The ONLY low fat food my dog will eat.

Comments about Royal Canin Veterinary Diets Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Gastrointestinal Low Fat Canned Dog Food:

After my dog had his gallbladder removed, I tried everything to just get him to eat but soon found that he couldn't handle the fat of regular food. He got recurrent bouts of diarrhea and a nasty case of pancreatitis. I'm a veterinarian and I've always recommended Hill's i/d and Purina's EN as my top choices...not anymore! He wouldn't touch either brand's food (even the stew). He has always been a picky eater and I had almost given up hope when I finally tried Royal Canin's GI low fat....and he ate! My baby is eating huge mounds of food and jumps up and down when it's meal time for the first time EVER!

Excellent product to use in canine pancreatitis

By Zeros Mom

Comments about Royal Canin Veterinary Diets Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Gastrointestinal Low Fat Canned Dog Food:

I use to make home made dog food and I added supplements as directed but my 11 year old dachshund developed Pancreatitis as a secondary to Cushings Disease. The Veterinary director recommended Royal Canine Low Fat Gastrointestinal food. I feed my dog 5xs a day, small portions. The cans are convenient to measure out 5 daily meals. After 2 weeks there was a measurable improvement noted on his scans. At 6 weeks he is much improved and truly loves the taste of RC Veterinary diet Low Fat. In the midst of being anxious about my precious dog's health, I appreciate being able to feed my dog Royal Canine with confidence in its quality.

No more stomach trouble

By Srose9

Comments about Royal Canin Veterinary Diets Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Gastrointestinal Low Fat Canned Dog Food:

My boxer, Tyko, has had stomach problems since I got him 3 1/2 years ago. When I took him to a different vet ( mine was unavailable) she gave me a bag of gastrointestinal low fat dry dog food to try. It has been the best thing for him. He has not had a problem since. Since he is my baby (at 8 years old) I don't care about the price. It's worth every penny I spend. I have temporarily gone to the canned since he had major dental surgery and that's also great. Thank you for having this food available.

After reading various comment, I decided to try this for my almost 16 yr old Maltese mix almost a year ago. She's been doing well ever since, with only occasional loose stools but no diarrhea.
