Youll feel so much better when your dogs arthritis, joint, and post-surgical pain is relieved with Deramaxx. Deramaxx helps to maintain regular activity and quality of life by helping to decrease the inflammation that causes arthritis in dogs.

What is Deramaxx?Deramaxx is in a class of drugs called non-steroidal anti-inflammatories (NSAIDs).

What are the benefits of Deramaxx?
  • Helps relieve pain and inflammation associated with dog arthritis and other joint abnormalities.
  • Decreases pain associated with surgery.
  • Beef flavored, scored tablets makes Deramaxx easy to administer.

Formulated for: dogs (greater than 4 lbs) and should not be used in cats.
How is this medication given? Deramaxx is a tablet that is given orally (by mouth) once daily. Giving this medication with food can help reduce the chance of stomach/intestinal side effects. Only give this medication to the pet for which it was prescribed. For long-term use, the goal is to give the lowest dose needed to provide relief.

How does this medication work? Deramaxx is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that works by inhibiting the cell's production of chemicals that trigger inflammation. Arthritis in dogs and other forms of orthopedic and post-operative pain can be relieved with Deramaxx.

What results can I expect? Deramaxx does not cure dog arthritis or other joint abnormalities. It can effectively manage the pain and inflammation associated with your dogs condition. The response varies from dog to dog but can be dramatic. Pain relief can generally be seen within hours to days after administration. Symptoms may reoccur if Deramaxx is discontinued.

What form(s) does Deramaxx come in? scored beef-flavored tablets.

The hardest part is cutting the tablets in half, but I think I have that down now. My 12 year old Yellow Lab has terrible arthritis and has had it since she was young. When we started giving her Deramaxx, she became a different dog. She wants to play, she's awake more often during the day, her eyes are brighter. I don't think we realized how much pain she was in because Labs have a high tolerance for pain. Thank you!

Comments about Deramaxx Chewable Tablets For Dogs:

My 90lb American Bulldog that is 9 years old takes 1/2 a pill a day to provide comfort for a chronic back injury. If he is having a rough day, Deramaxx is gentle enough that I can give him another 1/2. He cannot take steroids due to his liver enzymes, and he has a weak stomach when it comes to what he can handle without getting sick, and he does GREAT on Deramaxx. They are beef flavored and chewable so it's no trouble getting him to take his meds.
